Part of the City of Lakes Loppet Winter Festival
What is it?
Take part in any two Loppet events and have twice the fun! We double dare you! Take the Double Down Challenge and we’ll acknowledge your Loppet grit:
- FREE LOPPET FESTIVAL POSTER (11×17)! You earned it! Pick it up at the awards table at The Trailhead after your second event.
- Earn a spot on the new Double Down Challenge list! This is the only chance to be on the inaugural list as we are officially kicking this off with our 20th anniversary!
What counts?
- Anybody that does two (or more) Festival events over the Festival weekend (does not include the Luminary but you should do that, too!).
- Anybody doing the Loppet Challenge
What are some examples?
- Classic Ski Loppet Tour + Ski-Orienteering (both on Sat)
- Kubb (Sat) + Fat Bike Tour (Sun)
- Skijor 5K (Sat) + Skate Ski Loppet (Sun)
- Classic Ski Loppet (Sat) + Snowshoe Loppet (Sun)
- Classic Ski Loppet (Sat) + Skate Ski Loppet (Sun). This is the long-standing Loppet Challenge. In addition to the poster, these folks get a hat.
The events are your choice. Maybe this is your chance to try something new. There are so many ways to enjoy winter in Loppetland. We double dare you to double down on your fun!
Registration
Registration and transaction fees are nonrefundable, including in the event of cancellation or event transfer.
Rules
Any individual who does two events during the same festival weekend (not including the Luminary Loppet) qualifies for the Double Down Challenge and to receive a poster and be on the inaugural list. This includes Loppet Challenge participants.
