The Loppet Foundation is excited to announce the hiring of Isaac Kasper as its first Trails Superintendent. Isaac comes to the Foundation from the Minikahda Club, where he was the Assistant Superintendent for Golf, and did the grooming for the Club in the winter months.

Isaac is a recreational skier and mountain biker, and is very excited for the opportunity to work with the Loppet community. Isaac grew up in the Cayuna area, where he could frequently be found building mountain bike trails in his back yard.

Isaac has hit the ground running with the Foundation. In just a few short weeks Isaac has transformed the winter recreation area. He has led the effort to reconfigure the ski trails, he has re-graded the tubing hill and moved the tow rope, he has led efforts to add a cooling tower for snowmaking, he has hired a crew for snowmaking and grooming at Wirth, he is leading efforts to bring volunteer grooming crews to Hiawatha, Columbia, the Chain of Lakes and South Wirth, and he is working to add signage to the system.

Please join us in welcoming Isaac Kasper to the Loppet Family!
