Penn Cycle Fat Tire Loppet now part of the Great Lakes FAT BIKE Series
This year’s Fat Tire Loppet is part of the Great Lakes FAT BIKE Series. The FAT BIKE series includes eight races across three states and includes $2,500 in prize money in addition to merchandise prizes.
“We are really excited to be part of the Great Lakes Series,” said Fat Tire Loppet Director Paul Krawczyk. “It is great to establish that connection to the broader fat tire community.”
“We are really proud to be sponsoring the Fat Tire Loppet,” says Pat Sorenson of Penn Cycle. “With the winters that we have in the Midwest this is the place for a Series like this.”
The Penn Cycle Fat Tire Loppet is also part of the Loppet’s Fittest Fattest Skier contest. The Fittest Fattest Skiers are the male and female who do both the Loppet Freestyle and the Fat Tire Loppet in the same day.
