LNR High-Performance and Collegiate Teams

Elite-Level Cross-country ski training
for 18+ year olds

Loppet Nordic Racing has long been associated with high-caliber racing in the cross-country ski world for juniors. With elite-level training now available to skiers post high school, the Midwest is set to become one of the best training areas for the nation’s top athletes.

LNR Collegiate Team

The LNR Collegiate Team is a summer training group for top NCAA cross-country skiers, meant to complement collegiate training programs during students’ time off from school. For 2021, the Collegiate program will train along-side our High Performance Team athletes. Training run May 15-August 15th. Application is required, contact Caitlin Gregg at caitlincgregg@gmail.com to apply.

LNR High Performance Team

The LNR High Performance Team is the Loppet Foundation’s top caliber elite training group that practices 6-8 times a week year-round. This group works to prepare the Midwest’s best 18+ year old athletes to compete at the highest level of national and international cross-country skiing, catering especially towards those with dreams of being professional racers and the work ethic to chase those dreams.

Due to the extremely physically demanding nature of these programs, they are not open to the public. Participants in these elite-level training groups are offered invitation based on superior results in popular ski races during previous season. Contact Caitlin Gregg at caitlincgregg@gmail.com if you would like to apply to train with one of these teams.

High Performance Movement Project is a new program held at The Trailhead in the indoor/outdoor studio space on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 – 7pm with Nikki Williams, DPT, and Ryan Williams, ACE*CPT.

The goal of the program is to help reverse bad patterning, lack of activation, and muscle imbalances while also improving movement mechanics before the training season is in full-swing. The program will focus on core strength, posterior chain strength, running, glute activation, TVA activation, hip strength mechanics, and lifting mechanics.
