Committee Leadership

The Loppet Foundation is looking for committed members to join steering committees to help direct and grow the various pillars of the Loppet Foundation.  Join a committee and contribute to the trails, community and events you enjoy!

Events – Join a planning committee for one of the Loppet events.  Dedicated volunteers are needed to lead timing, aid station and finish-line food, and course marking operations.  Multiple race leadership and management positions available.  Please contact Mike at erickson@loppet.org.

Loppet Adventures – Do you get a lot out of recreating on the trails?  Would you like to be a part of fostering outdoor experiences within the community?  Loppet Adventures wants creative and active folks to plan events, trips and outings for the Loppet community.  Contact Anthony at taylor@loppet.org if interested helping plan or lead an event.

Loppet Nordic Racing – Has racing been a big part of your life?  Consider assisting in the Loppet’s dynamic LNR programming.  We could use your help during LNR races, programs and events.  Contact Piotr at bednarski@loppet.org if you are interested in joining this team.

Stewardship – Interested in playing a role in maintaining the integrity of the trail systems you enjoy?  The Loppet Stewardship Committee plants trees, clears trails before events and prepares ski trails for winter by re-seeding and laying erosion mat.  If you enjoy spending time in the woods, join this committee and participate in trails work throughout the year.  Contact Mike at erickson@loppet.org for more information.
