The Fall TRAIL KIDS Program offers fun outdoor active adventures for kids ages 7-13 years old. Coaches keep practice both challenging and fun for kids while also teaching important age developmental motor skills. Youth are split into ability/age/gender coaching groups (U10, U12, U14). Each session will be a mix of trail running, relays, strength/agility, ultimate Frisbee running games and orienteering.
There is a great article written in the Health Fitness Revolution that describes the Top 10 health benefits of Orienteering. Below is a list of these benefits:

- Teaches self-reliance

- Increases fitness levels
- Increases cardiovascular capacity
- Enjoying time with nature
- Increases self-esteem
- Can be very useful and even lifesaving
- Become part of a community: The orienteering community is a great way to socialize while competing. Although it is a solitary sport, there is a sense of camaraderie among competitors both before and after a meet.
