With clear goals and organization, the Loppet Run 365 Elite program has already found some promising young talents. These are athletes capable of running around the world standard times; therefore, as the term “elite” explains, the vision for this group is to nurture their potential in multifaceted training system to reach the Olympic caliber in the future.
Spring/Summer 2021
Spring and Summer Training generally runs Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 8am-10am. Athletes work with Abdi on physical, tactical, and mental training. Detailed training and race plans are part of the program. Meeting locations vary for the Elite Team – The Trailhead at Theodore Wirth Park, Bryn Mawr Meadows, and Fort Snelling are common training locations.
Registration
This program runs year round and is for athletes ages 19+ focused on competing nationally and internationally. Those interested in joining the LR365 Elite team should contact Coach Abdi Bile at bile@loppet.org to apply.
Register Now!Refund Policy
The Loppet will issue a full refund of the program fee minus the original processing fee up until 4 weeks before the program starts. Between 4 and 3 weeks from the program start date, a 50% refund will be issued. There are no refunds for any cancellations within less than 3 weeks of the start of a program.

Coaching
Abdi Bile, Loppet Running Director

Along with an incredibly successful running career, Abdi Bile (bile@loppet.org) has made a name for himself over the years as a highly knowledgeable running coach. His distinguished career includes coaching as the National Head Coach of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, the Senior Endurance Coach as Aspire Academy, and the Junior National Team Coach of Qatar. Bile was also the Co-Founder and Head Coach of the Savannah International Training Center in the United States, sponsored by the International Olympic Solidarity Program.
Bile has made it his personal mission to mentor and inspire youth to enjoy sports and a variety of outdoor activities, aligning well with the Loppet Foundation’s mission to create a shared passion for year-round outdoor adventure in the Minneapolis area.
