Adventure Crew Session III

Summer session is where all of the training, learning, and growing through the off-season and spring sessions pay off! The Loppet Cycle Works Adventure Crew summer session applies all of sport-specific strength training and indoor/outdoor cycling to full on adventure outdoors. Rides and strength classes are structured to accommodate all abilities using a periodization framework and integrated biopsychosocial method, ensuring every participant gets a developmentally appropriate level of challenge according to their individual goals, competence, availability, and rate of progression. Adventure is the goal! Competition is deemphasized and the focus is on fundamental and sport-specific skill enhancement and refinement so that a safe, enjoyable experience is possible with each ride. Preparation for optional travel to trails around Minnesota, the region, and around the country is a parallel objective.

Summer session is the third phase of a four-phase sequence designed to guide participants through an entire training year. Though participation for the full year is not required, the option to attend the entire four-phase program provides optimal developmental support and instruction and is proven most beneficial for those seeking comprehensive, progressive, and consistent coach mentorship and instruction.

The Loppet Cycle Works Adventure Crew ensures each rider is safe, learning, and having fun exploring all cycling has to offer, from those who have discovered a passion for a specific discipline and are looking to take their riding to the next level to those who are still trying things out and investigating the options.

Registration options are designed to suit varying levels of commitment. Sign up for sessions from the options below based on individual registration package:

Monday – 7:30am – 9am (Strength Trailhead)

9am – 12pm (On the Bike)

5pm – 7pm (On the Bike)

7:30pm – 9pm (Strength Trailhead)

Tuesday -7:30am – 9amĀ (On the Bike)

5pm – 7pm (On the Bike)

7:30pm – 9pm (Strength Kingfield and Trailhead)

Wednesday – 3pm – 9pm (Wirth on Wednesday Races)

Thursday – 5pm – 9pm (On the Bike)

7:30pm – 9pm (Strength Kingfield and Trailhead)

Friday – Individual Sessions (Trailhead)

Saturday – 9am (Ride, Destination Ride)

Sunday – Race/Ride (TBD)
