LNR Strength Techniques Class
This 6 week session is the first in a series of educational courses designed to provide in-depth instruction on philosophy, form, technique, application, progression, and modifications related to strength training movements and the various technologies used in training. Perfect for those who have been strength training for years, those just getting into strength training, current and aspiring athletes, coaches looking to sharpen their coaching techniques, and especially those not sure if strength training is for them. The main focus is around the Olympic Lifts: deadlift, cleans, squats, lunges, pushes/pulls, overhead lifts, as well as plyometric movements.
Each session focuses on key movements typically featured in most strength training workouts and particularly those used in Loppet studio classes and sport programs. In addition to the significant educational information provided through this techniques session, participants will walk away with a greater sense of confidence and objectives to work on through their own practice. Though there will be some training involved, the focus is not on making big strength or fitness gains in this class.
