Junior Loppet Student Recognized in Northeaster

Amaya Rambacchus, student at Northeast Middle School and standout athlete with the Junior Loppet program, has recently been recognized for her athletic achievements in the Northeaster Newspaper. As an aspiring Paralympian, Amaya is far from your average middle schooler! Read her full story here (on page 10).

Amaya’s story really gets at the heart of the Loppet’s mission. Our goal is to make sure that everyone — no matter their age, background, ability, or other life circumstance — can develop a passion for outdoor activity.

We at the Loppet Foundation are always excited to share our students’ stories through opportunities like this. We’re lucky to have a long-term partner like UCare that lets us bring consistent programming to Northeast Middle School.
