Parallel 45 CupSkate Ski Sprints


Sunday, March 15: 3:00 – 5:30 pm
The Trailhead, 1221 Theodore Wirth Pkwy

Skiers take their shot at the World Cup course in a World Cup sprint formatted event. Each registered athlete will be allotted one individual qualifier start. The top athletes from the qualifiers will be placed into semi-final and final rounds. Awards will be presented on the World Cup podium.

Spectating is free and open to the public.

Junior Stars

Competing athletes must have an FIS and/or U.S. Ski and Snowboard License and be part of the U18 and U20 age groups. There is a max registration number of 64 racers/gender.

Open

There is a max registration number of 64 racers/gender. There will be 48 open registration spots, the rest of the athletes will qualify through the City of Lakes Loppet Festival Sprints.

Registration and transaction fees are non-refundable, including in the event of delay, rescheduling, or cancellation of an event or program. An event or program registration is not transferable to another person or another event for any reason, including injury. Participating under another person's name will result in disqualification.

A Note About the Data We Collect

No new registrations will be allowed after the close of online registration due to the amount of time it takes to develop competition brackets and schedules.

Sunday, March 15th

  • 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm – Packet pick-up for Sunday adult participant events in the Great Hall at The Trailhead
  • 3:00 pm – Qualifiers start in the Lower Stadium

Weather permitted, skiers will race on the FIS Women’s World Cup Sprint Course. You can view the 1.4km course map here.

Age Classes

  • Junior Stars: U20 and U18 skiers only
  • Open: Skiers 21+

U20 and U18 age groups will race and be scored together. They will be separated by gender.

There will only be two race categories for the Open Age Class: Male and Female.
