9am – 2pm: MyXC Championships (Youth Skate Ski Race)

The season’s culminating event for young skate ski racers in the MyXC Central Youth Ski Leagues. Young racers visiting for the weekend are invited to join.

9am – 2pm: MyXC Festival

S’more roasting, treasure hunts, ski clinics, and more for young festival goers.

10am – 7pm: Parallel 45 Village Block Party & Expo

Food trucks, gear trucks, and beer trucks to entertain and inspire festival-goers in the Parallel 45 Village.

Free and open to the public.

2pm – 3:30pm: Parallel 45 Cup (Skate Ski Distance Race)

10K/5K mass start skate races. NCAA level racers make up the first wave, college club racers (and their alumni) the second, and citizen racers the third.

Participant registration will be available Winter 2020.

2pm – 8pm: Parallel 45 Music Stage

Constant entertainment will be provided by local bands in the middle of the Parallel 45 Village. Expect family-friendly tunes earlier in the day and more adult-centric bands (though still great for the whole family) later in the evening.

3:30pm – 4:30pm: Share Winter Minne-Loppet (U12 Youth Fun Ski)

Youth 12 and under can participate in this free, feel-good event. 1K and 2K “race” options include hot cocoa and medals for all participants.

4pm – 5pm: Snowball in Hell (SkiCross Qualifiers)

Built for spectators, “Snowball in Hell” is a SkiCross race with banked turns, drops, jumps, and plenty of crashes! “Snowball in Hell” is high octane, downhill, and fast. Experienced participants will race through qualifying rounds to be placed in the heats.

4:30pm – 5:30pm: Parallel 45 Cup (Fat Tire Sprint Race)

Winter cyclists get their chance to race through heats on a fast-paced sprint course.

5:30pm – 6:30pm: Snowball in Hell (SkiCross Finals)

The top SkiCross competitors to advance through the qualifying rounds earlier in the day will go head-to-head in the fast-paced men’s and women’s final heats with banked turns, drops, jumps, and plenty of crashes!

Spectating free and open to the public.

The season’s culminating event for young skate ski racers in the MyXC Central Youth Ski Leagues who wish to try their hand at SkiCross. This modified sprint course contains rollers, sharp turns, and optional jumps. Young racers visiting for the weekend are invited to join.

11am – 12pm: Fast & Female Age Gap Relays

Hosted in collaboration with Olympic Gold Medalist Kikkan Randall, these ski relays will team female youth with former female U.S. Cross Country Ski Olympians for a once-in-a-lifetime race experience.

11:30am – 4pm: Parallel 45 Music Stage

Constant entertainment will be provided by local bands in the middle of the Parallel 45 Village. Expect tunes that all will love.

12pm – 1pm: Parallel 45 Cup (Skijor Sprint Race)

Dogs and their skier (human) friends compete for glory on a short sprint course.

12pm – 1pm: Fast & Female Power Hour

Hosted in collaboration with Olympic Gold Medalist Kikkan Randall. Youth and their families can meet, greet, and be inspired by some of the greatest female cross country skiers.

12:30pm – 1:30pm: Snowball in Hell (Fat-tire BikeCross Qualifiers)

Built for spectators, “Snowball in Hell” is a BikeCross race with banked turns, drops, jumps, and plenty of crashes. “Snowball in Hell” is high octane, downhill riding. Experienced participants will race through qualifying rounds to be placed in the heats.

1pm – 2pm: Parallel 45 Cup (Skate Sprint Race)

Open to the public, citizen racers participating in this event will get to test themselves on the World Cup Course. After a qualifying round, the top 30 men and top 30 women will ski in elimination heats to advance to the finals and a chance to claim victory on the World Cup course.

2pm – 2:30pm: Parallel 45 Tour

Want to try your hand/skis on the World Cup Course, but not feeling the need for competition? Sign up for the tour to see the course through the athletes’ eyes at your own pace. Open to both skate and classic skiers.

8:30am – 10:30am: Share Winter Equity and Adventure Roundtable

Join leaders and partners of the Share Winter Foundation and the Loppet Foundation in conversation around best practices for assuring that the benefits of an active and adventurous lifestyle are available for all.

Passes will be available October 2019.

3pm – 5pm: World Cup Course Inspection

World Cup athletes and their teams will use this time to inspect the World Cup course and test their skis/wax.

5pm – 6:30pm: Parallel 45 Cup (Junior Skate Sprint Race)

Junior athletes take their shot at the World Cup course. After a qualifying round, the top boys and girls will ski in elimination heats. The best six girls and the best six boys advance to the Parallel 45 Junior Sprint Championships on the World Cup course immediately following the World Cup finals on Tuesday.

6:30pm – 9pm: Parallel 45 Gala + Benefit

Join Olympic Gold Medalist Kikkan Randall to celebrate the past and present US Olympic Women’s Cross Country team, and dream about what comes next. Expect excellent food, drinks, music, and mingling at this benefit for the Loppet Foundation’s youth programs.

Passes will be available for purchase October 2019.

10am – 6:30pm: World Cup Warm-Up Loop Open to FIS Athletes

World Cup athletes will use this area to warm up before their races and complete final ski/wax testing.

12pm – 10pm: Champions Club at the Coop FIS Cross-Country World Cup

Throughout the entire day of the FIS Coop Cross Country World Cup, our VIP-level guests will have access to the best sightlines of the race, plus top-shelf food and drinks in The Trailhead. Passes include access to the Champions Club Patio (at the final key turn of the World Cup race), the Finish Line Grandstand, and the Course Interior.

VIP passes will be available for purchase October 2019.

12pm – 10pm: Parallel 45 Village Block Party & Expo

Food trucks, gear trucks, and beer trucks to entertain and inspire festival-goers in the Parallel 45 Village.

2:15pm – 3:15pm: Coop FIS Cross-Country World Cup Sprint Finals – Qualifiers

World Cup athletes will compete on American snow for the first time since 2001. Through the Prelude each athlete will be given one chance to earn their way into the top-30, which will advance them into the heats.

General admission, Grandstand, and Champions Club passes will be available October 2019.

3pm – 3:30pm: Share Winter Minne Loppet Parade and Lighting of the World Cup Torch

Youth parade from Northpoint Medical Center in North Minneapolis to Theodore Wirth Park, with symbolic lighting of the Parallel 45 Torch.

Free and open to the public.

3:30pm – 4:30pm: Parallel 45 Crew Ski Loppet

Form a team of six to compete on the Loppet’s legendary Crew Skis for the honor of taking on the Crew Ski Dream Team. Crew Skis will be provided by the Loppet Foundation.

A benefit for the Loppet Foundation’s youth programming, participating teams raise funds in support of the Loppet’s mission.

4:45pm – 6:25pm: Coop FIS Cross-Country World Cup Sprint Finals – Final Heats

This is it. The final sprint competition of the 2019-20 World Cup season. The Top 30 men and women from around the world compete through a bracket of six-competitor, do-or-die heats.

General admission, Grandstand, and Champions Club passes will be available October 2019.

6:30pm – 7pm: Coop FIS Cross-Country World Cup Sprint Finals – Awards

The World Cup Sprints season’s culminating award ceremony celebrating the best of the best. The coveted Crystal Globe will be awarded to the 2020 Sprint Champions.

7pm – 9:30pm: Parallel 45 Music Stage

Entertainment will be provided by local bands in the middle of the Parallel 45 Village. Expect tunes that all will love.
