Chuck & Don’s Skijor Two Dog Loppet (aka Two Dog National Championship)

Day two of the Chuck & Don’s Point-to-Point Skijor Loppet  is a two dogs race.  It is the second day of the National Skijoring Championship and IFSS World Cup Race following the premiere Loppet ski trail. The race will begin at Bde Maka Ska North Beach and will follow the green course.

Skijoring teams can compete in one or both days. Those ifss-logoteams that compete in both Saturday’s Chuck & Don’s Skijor One Dog Loppet 10K and Sunday’s Chuck & Don’s Two Dog Skijor Loppet will automatically be entered into the Combined National Championship event.

Registration and transaction fees are nonrefundable, including in the event of cancellation. Registration is not transferable to another person or another event for any reason, including injury. Competing under another person’s name will result in disqualification.

A Note About the Data We Collect

There is no registration for Skijoring Loppet events after Friday evening packet pickup closes.


Race Rules

Participants are responsible for reading, understanding and complying with published race rules. Any changes or adjustments to these rules will be communicated prior to the race. Safety is of utmost concern for all and rules may be altered to ensure safety. No pulks, sleds or other carriers are permitted. Sit Skiers are permitted.

Race Format

Skijoring teams will be seeded based on prior Skijor Loppet race results. Request for seeding by Skijorers with no prior race history must be sent to kevinmmurphy@comcast.net by January 18, 2019 to be considered for this event. Request must include links to publicly available skijoring race results.

10k Skijoring teams will be seeded based on 2019 SkijorUSA Midwest Race Series Race results. Registration is required by end of online registration on January 29 to be included in the seeding for this event.
