Chuck & Don’s Point-to-Point Skijoring Loppet
Featuring the Two Dog Skijoring Championship and IFSS World Cup Race

Day two of the Chuck & Don’s Skijoring Loppet, National Skijoring Championship and IFSS World Cup Race. This point-to-point race starts in Uptown and finishes in Loppet Village in Wirth Park. The event is 10 kilometers and includes some challenging hills. The course follows five lakes, goes under two railroad tracks, through a tunnel, over Interstate 394, under Highway 55, and over three bridges on its way to Loppet Village. Skijor teams can use one or two dogs.
The Chuck & Don’s Point-to-Point Skijoring Loppet is the second day of the National Skijoring Championship and IFSS World Cup Race following the premiere Loppet ski trail. Skijoring teams can compete in one or both days. Those teams that compete in both Saturday’s Chuck & Don’s Skijoring Loppet 10K and Sunday’s Chuck & Don’s 10k Point-to-Point Skijoring Loppet will automatically be entered into the Combined National Championship event.

Registration and transaction fees are nonrefundable, including in the event of cancellation. Registration is not transferable to another person or another event for any reason, including injury. Competing under another person’s name will result in disqualification.
There is no registration for Skijoring Loppet events after Friday evening in the Big Tent.
Teams can use either one dog or two on this second day of the Chuck & Don’s Skijoring Loppet and National Championships – but there is only one class recognized.
Participants are responsible for reading, understanding and complying with published race rules. Any changes or adjustments to these rules will be communicated prior to the race. Safety is of utmost concern for all and rules may be altered to ensure safety. No pulks, sleds or other carriers are permitted. Sit Skiers are permitted.

Skijoring teams will be seeded based on prior Skijoring Loppet race results. Request for seeding by Skijorers with no prior race history must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by Jan 23, 2019 to be considered for this event. Request must include links to publicly available skijoring race results.
