The City of Lakes Nordic Ski Foundation is a 501c(3)non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and support cross country skiing in the Minneapolis area - especially among inner-city youth. The Foundation has three focus areas: youth programming, events and trails.

Midwest Junior Championships
March 10th and 11th, 2012
Young skiers from across the Midwest race on the Hap and Judy Lutter competition loop at Theodore Wirth Park in
Minneapolis. Saturday afternoon skiers compete in the Midwest Skiball Championship Tournament and in the SkiX-c
course - a short loop with jumps and a slalom course.
