5pm at Cedar Lake
Midsummer Night’s Paddle
Join host, Anthony Taylor, The Loppet Foundation and the Minnesota Canoe Association as we celebrate the longest day, the shortest night and the tipping point (the actual date was 6/20 Sunset on 6/25 is 9:03 pm). The Solstice has deep meaning throughout the world and although it is the first day of summer it is also a reminder – we are on our way back to winter and the opportunities that it brings. We will celebrate the cycles of the season with a seasonal organic feast, late sunsets and good friends in one the most beautiful urban settings in the country. We will paddle the chain of lakes and celebrate the solstice sunset with a midsummer night’s paddle.
This event is Free for Loppet members and $15.00 for all others.
