2017 LNR Junior Spring Informational Meeting

What: Head LNR Coach Piotr Bednarski will be presenting information about the spring and summer LNR 2016 Junior programs. He will cover information on the Basic LNR Summer Program, Competition Team and summer LNR training camp qualifications. He will also speak on what it takes to prepare for Junior Nationals, college and international racing goals.
Who: This meeting is for athletes, ages 12-18 and their parents who are interested in approaching their ski training more seriously. We will address questions about transitioning from Jr High-Fast Kids racing to training with LNR Juniors. Coach Piotr will also address training and racing at the USSA level.
Where: Fireplace Room at Wirth Park Main Chalet

Head LNR Coach Piotr Bednarski
Piotr Bednarski has been coaching for more than 25 years. He has coached at all level- including high school, NCAA, and was Director of Athlete Development for the US Biathlon Team for 10 years.
LNR Head Coach, Piotr Bednarski was awarded the Igor Badamshin Coach of the Year Award for his success in developing Loppet Nordic Racing into the top ranked Junior Club in the nation. In its first year in existence, LNR placed 2nd Overall (combined Men and Women) in 2013, and is the defending National Champion Club, in 2014 (Stowe, Vermont), in 2015 (Truckee, California), and in 2016 in Telemark, Wisconsin, where LNR won both the Women’s National Title and Overall. LNR leads the nation in number of USSA certified coaches, and has greatly expanded its youth racing arm, FAST KIDS, for ages 8-12.
