Events
Loppet Foundation events are designed to highlight the many outdoor opportunities that can be found right in Minneapolis. How many big cities come with a 30+ kilometer ski trail system? How many can host a paddle – trail run – mountain bike triathlon and a half-marathon on trails? Over 13,000 participants and volunteers take part in all three events: the City of Lakes Loppet, Tri-Loppet, and Trail Loppet. When you race the tri-fecta, participants earn themselves an invitation to the Hoigaard’s Challenge recognition dinner and a chance to win a trip to Bearskin Lodge.
