The City Trails Loppet is a point-to-point urban trail run. Both the 10 Mile and the 10K events start in downtown Robbinsdale, pass through Sochackie Park and Mary Hills Nature Center, go under Golden Valley Road/Duluth Street, past the 45th parallel, through Theodore Wirth Park, and under Highway 55. From there the courses diverge – with the 10K heading southeast through Bryn Mawr Meadows and the 10 Mile heading to trails in the Chain of Lakes area and Cedar Lake Park. The two courses re-converge in the Cedar Lake Trail area before heading under Interstate 394 and into the Kenwood neighborhood. The race concludes with a grand finish at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden and finish line festival including live music, food truck, and Surly Beer Garden made possible by Barbette.
This is a Hoigaard’s Challenge event.
