Are you ready to break out of the conventional triathlon mold and take your outdoor skills to a new level? Prepare for the mass start on the water, the wild wakes, the muddy trails, and the roller coaster ride of a course. Meld your love of Minneapolis’ lakes and trails with the City of Lakes Tri-Club!
The City of Lakes Tri-Club prepares beginning to intermediate athletes for the City of Lakes Tri-Loppet. Canoe, bike, and running specialists will instruct participants with their paddling strokes, mountain biking strategy and trail running skills. Meet other outdoor minded folks and gear up for the Tri-Loppet!

Equipment
- Paddling- Participants are encouraged to bring their own boats and paddling equipment, however boats can be reserved as part of the course at no extra charge.
- Mountain biking- Mounatin bikes or cyclo-cross are reccomended for the trails. Depending upon availability, participants may rent a mountain bike and helmet from the Nordic Ski Foundation for $25/session.

- Paddle clinics- meet at Cedar Lake at the boat launch just south of Point Beach, 2501 Cedar Lake Pkwy
- Mounatin Bike clinics- meet in the Par 3 parking lot in Theodore Wirth Park
- Trail Running clinic- meet at the Wirth Beach House parking lot, on Glenwood
