Joining one of the Loppet Ski Clubs is a great way to improve your skills and train with other skiers throughout the year. Led by experienced coaches, groups are available for all abilities and techniques. Beginners are taught the fundamentals of cross-country skiing and more experienced skiers work on strength, technique and race preparation. Find the group that is most appropriate for you and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow winter enthusiasts in the Minneapolis area.
*Member Expectations* When you sign up for one of the Loppet Ski Clubs, you become a member of the Minneapolis Skiing Community. Members are expected to join the Nordic Ski Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, in its mission to bring more and improved skiing opportunities to the Minneapolis area. Ski Club members are also required to give back to the community in some way. Members might help organize a potluck, lead a long ski, or volunteer with a Foundation youth group. Whatever your role, we look forward to working with you as a new ambassador of skiing in Minnesota.
Cost: $100 per club ($25 extra for new Foundation members)
